Dr. Constance Zhou

ENT Staff in Irving, TXDr.  Zhou (pronounced like "Joe") joined the Medical & Surgical clinic of Irving in 2011.  She graduated with distinction from Stanford University and also came to Dallas for medical school and residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center.  She is board certified in Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery.  Her practice includes a full scope of ENT care with emphasis on minimally-invasive sinus procedures, allergy treatment, pediatric ENT, and thyroid/parathyroid surgery.

Dr. Zhou is a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and graduated from Stanford University with distinction. She first came to the Dallas to attend medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.  After graduation, she stayed at UT Southwestern to complete her residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. Her practice interests include general adult and pediatric otolaryngology, sinus disease, allergy treatment, thyroid surgery, and facial plastic surgery.  She enjoys photography and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.

Dr. Timothy Thomason

Dr. Thomason has been practicing medicine in Irving, Texas since 2007. A native of the Dallas area, he graduated summa cum laude at Texas A&M University and then returned to the metroplex to attend medical school at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He then stayed there for residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and served as chief resident his final year of residency. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Thomason’s clinical interests include the following:

  • Comprehensive care for allergy and sinus diseases:
    • Sublingual immunotherapy
    • Minimally-invasive balloon sinus dilation
    • Surgical correction of structural nasal problems such as septoplasty and functional rhinoplasty
  • Comprehensive pediatric care for ear/nose/throat disorders, including:
    • problematic ear infections
    • tonsil and adenoid disease
    • pediatric allergies
  • Complex surgeries for head and neck cancer, including facial reconstruction after excision of benign or malignant skin masses
  • Surgery for thyroid and parathyroid tumors
  • Sleep Disorders, including snoring and obstructive sleep apnea using a variety of non-invasive, minimally-invasive, and tailored precision surgical techniques.

When not at work, Dr. Thomason enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children. He tries to find time to play golf but ends up going on campouts and coaching sports teams instead. Maybe when the kids are older...

Stephen Lamson, MS, CCC-A, FAAA

Mr. Lamson began his education at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he received both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree. After graduating with an MS in Communication Disorders in 1996, Stephen began his career in audiology. His first job took him to San Antonio, Texas, where he served as a clinical audiologist at an Ear-Nose-Throat practice for nine years. While there, he gained critical experience working with children and adults alike, evaluating hearing and dizziness, and fitting hearing aids and doing minor repairs. After his time at the San Antonio clinic, he moved back to the Dallas area and in the past several years, Mr. Lamson has worked at both medical and audiology-only practices helping countless individuals with their hearing and dizziness concerns. In 2016, Mr. Lamson began working at the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving (MSCI) as an audiologist. In July 2018, he followed Drs. Zhou and Thomason as they started Metroplex ENT & Allergy, PLLC, and he now stands ready to help those living in the Irving/Las Colinas area with their hearing and dizziness concerns. Mr. Lamson is ready to bring expert audiological advice to patients both young and old. It is recommended that young children visit an audiologist to check for any potential hearing problems, as well as seniors who are concerned about their hearing.On top of his services at Metroplex ENT & Allergy, Mr. Lamson also serves as a part-time clinical supervisor of doctoral-program audiology students from the UT-Dallas and University of North Texas campuses. In his spare time, Mr. Lamson enjoys music, reading, and helps to raise his growing family.
